Summary

The WorkRing app runs entirely on your Mac. It has no telemetry and does not send your data to us. This website uses only strictly necessary storage by default and loads analytics only after you consent.

The app

WorkRing stores your ring layouts and settings locally on your Mac. The Accessibility permission, if you grant it, is used only to send the keyboard shortcuts you configure and is never used to read or record your input. License activation may contact our licensing service to verify your license key.

This website

By default the site stores only the items listed in the Cookie Policy: your language preference and your consent choice. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics 4 collects anonymous usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type. Consent Mode is set to denied until you agree.

Legal bases and your rights

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on consent for optional categories and on legitimate interest for strictly necessary storage. You may access, correct, delete or export data, object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent and lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

California residents have the right to know, delete, correct and opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information and we honor Global Privacy Control signals. Residents of Japan can request disclosure, correction or cessation of use under the APPI. For users in mainland China, analytics runs only on separate explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

Retention and transfers

Your consent record is kept for 12 months and then requested again. Analytics data, if enabled, is retained according to the settings of our analytics provider and may be processed outside your country with appropriate safeguards.
